A LETTER FROM OUR PRESIDENT
Dear Potential New Member,
Welcome to the Binghamton University Panhellenic Community! We’re so happy that you’re here and have taken the time to learn more about what it means to be a part of our sisterhood. Whether this is your first time exploring sorority life or you’re already counting down the days to recruitment, we are so excited to have you!
The Binghamton Panhellenic community is the largest women’s organization at Binghamton University and is made up of seven remarkable chapters filled with women who are passionate about scholarship, leadership, service, and sisterhood. Each chapter here on campus has something unique to offer each and every one of you. In each organization, you will meet intelligent, driven, and empowered women who uphold our community and our values. Together, we form a network of women who support each other through all aspects of the college experience here at Binghamton University.
Choosing to join a sorority is about more than finding a group of friends; it's about finding a place to grow and discover yourself as you navigate college life. By joining Panhellenic, you will be provided with various leadership opportunities and a chance to make an impact on both local and campus communities. Beyond leadership and service, joining Panhellenic means joining a sisterhood that will last far beyond your 4 years at Binghamton. Our community is a fabulous way to find your “home away from home” on campus and to surround yourself with an encouraging and uplifting support system to stand by you throughout your endeavors. Panhellenic has been one of the most transformative parts of my college experience, and I hope it can provide you with the same sense of belonging.
As you explore our website, I encourage you to keep an open heart and mind. Take your time and read about each chapter, its values, and imagine yourself immersed in something bigger than yourself. Recruitment is a time of self-discovery, and our community is here to support you every step of the way.
We truly welcome you with open arms, and we’re so happy to have you!
With love,
Paige Heggelke
Panhellenic President
